Why does it have to be like this?

Having grown up in a relatively comfortable environment, enjoying my childhood happily, without any worries, I feel that sometimes, I tend to take things for granted. Having been pampered since young, we tend to be rather self-centered and neglect our surroundings. Yes. You may argue that you are not like that. It doesn't really matters to me.

I have to admit that I am rather self-centered at times, doing things my own way and refusing to listen to others. And sometimes, we grumble about not having enough, when to others, to own just 1/10 of what we have is like a dream come true for them.

Recently, I realize I have been taking more notice of my surroundings wherever I go. For example, looking out of the car and bus, noticing the sights that pass by. I am also treasuring the things I have more. Treasure what you have, don’t regret only when it disappears. By the time it is gone, it would be too late.
