My birthday is coming. =). 27 December. Mom wanted to have this birthday buffet thing at home but I told her no as then I would be stressing on who to invite, since I can’t possibly invite everyone. For now, I have no plans for birthday and birthdays would also mean that I am one year older. =(.

Anyway, I have this 4 birthday woes practically every year. People usually think that having a birthday near Christmas is good, however, there is some bad to it. No offence to anyone but this is what I feel.

1) I hate log cakes as my birthday cake. Hello. There is a reason why log cakes are for Christmas and birthday cakes are for birthday. Log cakes give me more of the feeling that one pops by a cake shop at the last minute and conveniently just bought a cake.

2) I hate it when people celebrate my birthday with Christmas. Totally no sincerity to the maximum. Plus, when they celebrate my birthday with Christmas and with the cake being a log cake, it is more like they forgot my birthday and at the last minute, finds some candles and then just conveniently sing a birthday song for me, as a form of celebration.

3) I hate it when people combine my Christmas and birthday present. No sincerity at all.

4) Lastly, people always mixed up my birthday as it’s near Christmas. My birthday is on the 27th of December. Remember that.

Till now, I think the only good thing about having a birthday near Christmas is that my birthday is always a holiday period. Thus, no school and all.

Let’s hope my four birthday woes would not happen anymore. =). What should I get for myself this birthday? That’s something to think about. =) .
