One day, hurt will be turned into memories.

Friends are one by one posting up their memories and photos for the year of 2008. While I browsed through my 2008 albums, I realized I had experienced a lot in this year. I also realized that incidents, that seem to have happened so long ago, had incurred only in the past year. The 366 days in the year 288 may seem to the normal period however, it is one of my most eventful year. All those events, it just don’t seem that all those events could incur in a length of 366 days. 2008 made me see the evil and good side of people. It made me understand who my true friends are and who is not. Friends come and go. I began to understand that. 2008 has left me with many drifted friendship. It is also the year that I have broken down the most. It made me less believing of people and more cautious of people. It made me experience work politics. It made me experience being the victim of gossip and bitching. I would also have to admit the words I use when I gossip and bitch are not very pleasant to hear about 55% of the time. This all has now become 50% hurt and 50% memories. I believe that this quote, “One day, hurt will be turned into memories” make sense. Though my 2008 memories still hurt, but I believe, one day it will all just turned into memories that would not hurt me. However, even if it would not hurt anymore, it is still memories that I would prefer not to remember or knowledge to. 2008 made me a more open-minded, stronger-will and a stronger person.
